Freelance Social Media Content Creator

10 -15 hours / week

This is a unique opportunity to express your passion and creativity for end-to-end content creation for Instagram, TikTok (not yet launched) and Facebook.

We're on the lookout for a vibrant and creative Social Media Content Creator to join our team on a freelance basis, approx. 15-20 hours per week. If you're handy with a DSLR camera or have a stellar iPhone content portfolio and can offer experience as a passionate brand advocate, and showcase the value of our products, we’d love to hear from you!

Position Overview: As a Social Media Content Creator at RICARDA, your role is pivotal in shaping our online presence. You will be responsible for crafting engaging content and managing our social media platforms, including Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, and Facebook. Your creativity will shine as you bring our brand to life through captivating visuals and compelling storytelling.

This role is on a freelance basis of approximately 15-20 hours per week. You must be located in Perth WA as you will be required to travel to our Claremont store each week, possibly twice per week to shoot and create content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and curate visually stunning content for our social media platforms.
  • Develop and execute innovative photoshoot and video concepts that align with our brand's unique aesthetic and values.
  • Handle end-to-end content creation, from photography and video production to post-production editing.
  • Ensure content aligns with our brand messaging and strategy.
  • Showcase our products through imaginative and engaging content that highlights their value.
  • Connect authentically with our RICARDA community and foster meaningful engagement.

Must-Have Requirements:

  • Proven experience in content creation, with a portfolio that demonstrates your creative prowess.
  • Strong video skills, including shooting and editing.
  • Proficiency in photography and photo editing.
  • Experience in executing photoshoots, from concept development to production.
  • A passion for storytelling and an eye for aesthetics.
  • Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space.
  • Good eye for detail and confident in creating a strong aesthetic.
